Live Life For Yourself

“I wanted a perfect ending. Now I’ve learned, the hard way, that some poems don’t rhyme, and some stories don’t have a clear beginning, middle, and end. Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what’s going to happen next.” ~Gilda Radner …

Our lives do not have to be perfect to be worth living them to the fullest. Unfortunately, many individuals miss out on so much of their lives because they are unsure of–or fear–what is going to happen next in their lives. In fact, the majority of us make our decisions and act in ways that are based off of our predictions of what will happen as a result. We try to plan out our lives, and often times as a result, we become frustrated and disappointed when things do not go according to our plans. But when we do this… we are setting ourselves up for disappointment; for it is not important for us to know what is going to happen next–because that is an impossibility. We can only act from our hearts and make the most of life as it happens.
