Ensure Your Attitude is Not akin to “A Flat Tire”

“A bad attitude is like a flat tire. You can’t get anywhere you want to go until you change it.” – Michael Josephson

Difficulties in life are going to happen whether you like it or not. But if you embrace a bad attitude due to a difficulty in life, you most likely will not succeed in overcoming it. And much like a flat tire requires changing prior to driving on it, a poor attitude will limit your ability to move forward in life.

Perhaps you know someone who has a bad attitude about the work they must do. How likely are they to finish it efficiently or effectively with such an attitude? Or what about someone who harbors bad feelings towards another individual. How does that attitude affect their other relationships? I know from my experience neither of these examples produce positive results.

Life will be what it will be. And if we focus on the negatives in life, we will all but ensure our day will turn out to be negative. But if we focus on the positives in life, and adopt a good attitude that focuses on using the gifts and talents we have been given, we will not only have a positive day, we will have a productive day as well.

Ensure your attitude never goes “flat” today.

Questions to consider:

Do you make the best out of everything that comes your way?

What are some things in your life that you could look at in a more positive light?

What benefits could doing so bring your way?

For further thought:

“Life is not always what one wants it to be, but to make the best of it, as it is, is the only way of being happy.” – Jennie Jerome Churchill
