Believe In Yourself And Your Abilities

“You can change your beliefs so they empower your dreams and desires. Create a strong belief in yourself and what you want.” – Marcia Wieder

The beauty of believing in yourself is that we each can do it, quite easily at that, with a little change of attitude. In addition, nobody can take this away from us unless we allow them to do so. Therefore, it is always a great time to create, develop, and build up our belief in ourselves and our abilities.

A simple shift in perspectives can make a world of difference–everything picks up when we start to believe in our self: work performance, self-image, feelings of happiness and contentment, self-confidence, even relationships–for it is easier to be with someone who believes in themself than it is to be with a person who does not.

Over time, my beliefs have come to align much more with my dreams–I have realized my own potential and abilities, and hold a firm belief in them. This has allowed me to find success in areas of my life where I previously had only doubts and concerns.

Do your beliefs support you and your dreams and desires? One of the things that we are not taught in life is that we can create our own beliefs and cast out those beliefs that hold us back or do us harm. Just as I would not want to go outside wearing clothes that I dislike, I prefer not to go through life allowing beliefs that do not support me in defining who I am and what I do.

Find belief in yourself and your abilities today.

Questions to consider:

Where do your beliefs come from? How did you get them?

How might you go about creating your own beliefs about your own life and the ways that you live it?

Why is it important to adopt and maintain beliefs that support your dreams and desires?

For further thought:

“Within you right now is the power to do things you never dreamed possible. This power becomes available to you just as soon as you can change your beliefs.” – Maxwell Maltz
