Spread Positivity Around You

“Life is a pure flame, and we live by an invisible sun within us.” – Thomas Brown

It is interesting to imagine what my life would be like if I were to be able to truly see life the way Thomas sees it here–as a pure flame that is brilliant and illuminating. What if I lived my life with the idea that within me there was an invisible sun that can illuminate the lives of others, that can spread its light to anyone with whom I come in contact with, and that the flame that I am can bring warmth and comfort to the people in my life?

Adopting such a view of life could allow us to strengthen it and the way we share it with others. It would also give us the chance to share our life and enthusiasm for our life with others.

We can bring light to other people’s lives–warming them and helping them to illuminate their way. We can be comforting and we can bring hope and joy. But we really have to look at our lives as something that has the potential to do so. We have to consider our spirits as something special if we want to bring something special to others.

Let your light shine forth–release your invisible sun and allow it to be a visible blessing for all those around you.

Try to warm the lives of those around you today.

Questions to consider:

Why do we so often tend to keep our spirits bottled up and hidden instead of allowing them to shine forth as the glorious things that they are?

What does it mean to say that “Life is a pure flame?” Do you live as if it truly were such?

How might you let your invisible sun shine forth for a change?

For further thought:

“O beautiful human life! Tears come to my eyes as I think of it. So beautiful, so inexpressibly beautiful! The song should never be silent, the dance never still, the laugh should sound like water which runs forever.” – Richard Jeffries
