Control Your Destiny

Although there are a few good messages in what George is saying there, the most important thing I gather is that there is no need for you to meddle in life, to try to control the world around you. There are going to be storms that rage around you–sadness, difficulties, and loss. There will be those who bring others down and who add negatively to the world. There will also be plenty of people who do things differently than you would… and all of this is ok.

Some of what we do in life leads us upwards and over mountains; other times it carries us down through the valleys. And as long as we do not stand upon those mountains and try to bask in the glory of success, or sulk in our valleys of failure, disappointment, or defeat, we are doing just fine… for that is what living is all about.
